Vampire Hair Restoration®

 

This procedure is a non-surgical treatment that utilizes the body’s own platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to help strengthen and restore hair in patients (both men & women) with hair loss.

How is it done?

Step 1: A small amount of blood is collected from you and is placed into a centrifuge.

Step 2: After about 10 minutes of centrifugation, the platelets are concentrated and drawn up into a syringe.

Step 3: The scalp is numbed and cleansed lightly.

Step 4: Using a tiny needle, PRP is injected strategically into your scalp in the areas that need improvement.

Note: Procedure isn’t grossly painful. It’s discomforting but tolerable.

Duration: The procedure takes about 1 hour and doesn’t have recovery downtime.

 

How many procedures are needed?

The treatment protocol involves 3 sessions (8-12 weeks apart) in order to best restore the health of the hair follicles, and thereafter, one session per year for maintenance. That said, you will still see good results after one treatment.
